- Hello again, all,
- I am needing to use 64k bytes of memory address space. I was advised
- to use the space starting from 0xa0000 to 0xaffff. When I try out
- these addresses, however, I am actually able to write to maybe the
- first 256 bytes of the space and read the numbers back
- (but noty without complaint).
-
- My question is if I build a device that will yield its memory to calls to
- this space, will I have a bus crash at some point? Where are those first
- 256 bytes physically located? Could that be a shadow of something?
-
- thanks
