- I am replacing the old memory in my system with larger capacity SIMMs, and
- I've hit a problem.
-
- The new SIMMs don't work.
-
- I noticed that one of the old SIMMs is different than the others. Is a
- special type needed for low memory on a PC? If not, I assume the other
- possibilities are that I didn't settle the SIMMs properly or they don't work.
-
- How should I best test the new memory if I can get it to work? Are
- there programs available to do this?
-
-
- On a completely different note, does anyone have the number of Maxtor's
- Tech Support?
-
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
