- I have had really bad luck with harddrives, I guess it is my own
- fault because I run a BBS but when I buy a 150,000 MTBF drive I expect
- it to last at least 2 years, I have difficulty coaxing one into a full
- year! I run my system in a well ventilated full tower case and there is
- not even another drive nexct to the HD to get things too hot.
-
- has anyone out there found a cheap and reliable drive in the 170-250
- meg range? I have tried segate and maxtor and I am certainly not
- smiling! I would like to buy a fujitsu (5 year warranty) but they start
- at about $1000 and I only want to spend around $500.
-
- suggestions by e-mail please, waste not the bandwidth.
