- People have long been agry about the dual-monitor setups because they
- force the 16-bit VGA's into 8-bit mode when an 8-bit mono card is in
- use. There are no 16-bit mono or hercules cards available, but I have
- been wondering about using an OAK SVGA-card as a second card,
- configuring it to emulate (DIP) an MDA-card. As the card is 16-bits, shouldn't
- they then work well together?
-
- The solution seems too easy to be true, and I haven't spent money on
- testing, as nobody knows whether it would work or not.
