- I used to have a S3 card. My problem is I didn't notice the speed in
- "accelerated" mode, but I did notice the slow VGA mode. I think it's
- a marketing scam. I'm quite happy with my ET4000 card (SpeedSTAR 24).

- it cost! In addition, I get 800x600x32k and 640x480x16.7m color modes.
- That combined with S3's abysmal support for OS/2 (anything but Windows,
