  18. You can't be serious.  I hear this "scream" from just about every monitor and TV
  19. I've even seen.  Most people I know think I'm just hearing things, but they 
  20. usually shut up when I can tell them exactly when they turn on the TV(no sound)
  21. or monitor while in the next room.  Going to TV showrooms can REALLY get 
  22. annoying! Thankfully, most of them are noisy enough that they overpower the
  23. high pitch "scream" from the TV's.  I never knew exactly what caused the sound,
  24. but I always thought that the tv's/monitors emmited some sort of high frequency
  25. sound above the threshold for average hearing(which would explain why many
  26. people can't hear it).
