- You can't be serious. I hear this "scream" from just about every monitor and TV
- I've even seen. Most people I know think I'm just hearing things, but they
- usually shut up when I can tell them exactly when they turn on the TV(no sound)
- or monitor while in the next room. Going to TV showrooms can REALLY get
- annoying! Thankfully, most of them are noisy enough that they overpower the
- high pitch "scream" from the TV's. I never knew exactly what caused the sound,
- but I always thought that the tv's/monitors emmited some sort of high frequency
- sound above the threshold for average hearing(which would explain why many
- people can't hear it).
