- This is true for the version I now have of Fastback Plus. It locks up when
- I try to install it on a 486DX33 with DOS 5 loaded high. According to
- software support at Fifth Generation Systems both these things are
- no-nos, but the latest version is fine (upgrade $49 so I ordered it). I
- have been using FB in various versions for about five years and it's
- great. The error correction is good enough that we once tried an
- experiment where we backed up some files, put a couple of staples
- through the floppy, removed them, then restored the files without
- errors. The recent failure to install on my new system is the first
- problem I have ever had.
