- I occasionally see adds for 40 nS SIMMs in the back of PC Magazine.
- Virtually never are they "currently available". Does anyone know of a
- place where either I or a local VAR (read my friend, the reseller) can
- order these. Prices I've seen on as yet nonexistant chips hover around
- $80/MB.
- I'm not about to rush out & buy them today, but I'm curious as to
- their availability...
-
- Vaguely related question: What is the ratio of full cycle time to
- access time for typical SIMM? Seems that with caching & address pipe-
- lining, that cycle time is a more important spec.
