  10. I should probably just ignore Erik Naggum's further insults to an
  11. accomplished and helpful programmer of the HP48, but Erik's drivel has
  12. enraged me!

  14. First of all, Erik, if you actually spend some money on some software,
  15. you may have a right to complain.  But to take something for free and
  16. then disparage the person who gave it to you because it isn't exactly
  17. what you want, that is unconscionable!!  Don't use *ANY* of the software
  18. on this net if it's not written in pure USER RPL if you absolutely cannot
  19. tolerate an unfortunate incident such as you experienced...ESPECIALLY if
  20. you intend on messing around with the code to try and figure it out or
  21. use it as it was not otherwise intended.

  23. Secondly, I don't know what "marvelous" software you have produced that
  24. allows you to be so critical of others but you either don't understand
  25. the complexities that can be involved in developing a useful, efficient
  26. and fast piece of code or you are a PERFECT person  who never makes
  27. mistakes (I doubt the latter seriously).

  29. Thirkly, HP DOES produce an excellent calculator (or we all wouldn't bee
  30. here) but...HP employs a staff of people to debug and test its products
  31. for years befor they go to market and still, serious bugs are found
  32. yielding incorrect answers or worse (why else would they have Rev's
  33. A,B,C,D,E).

  35. I appologize to the people in netland for having to read all this but I
  36. just couldn't let it go unanswered.  Maybe someday Erik will join the
  37. rest of us mortals as contributing members of the human race.
