- Incredible, several people post that the programs by a certain
- author has erased -everything- in their calculator, one just by running
- the program, and everyone jumps on them.
-
- I have not seen a single flame about the author, despite several claims.
- It was clearly posted that the programs by the author were doing unexpected
- and potentially damaging things, like erasing all memory.
-
- I am glad to hear about it, and will keep it in mind when I eventually
- get around to transferring stuff to my D 48sx.
-
- If similiar warnings were given about a Ford or Honda, I expect that
- anyone owning such a car would react differently. Just because your
- brakes have worked so far does not mean that due to a manufacturing
- defect, you will not eventually get a catastrophic failure. If you have
- important programs or data on your calculator, it would be foolish to
- try Mr. Naggums programs, at least without a complete backup.
-
- I still cannot believe what I am seeing. Many net readers are being
- chided for giving warning of problems they have had and potential
- problems for other.
