  17. As some poster already mentioned, it's already set for full speed.  I suppose
  18. you could do something convoluted like sliding RAM over ROM to "revector" it,
  19. but would you really want to slow down your 48 anyway?  And of course, this
  20. would only be useful for your own programs -- the 48's OS expects I/O and ROM
  21. to be in their standard positions!

  23. HP's beginning to get some competition in the super-calculator market, so it's
  24. a good bet that eventually we'll be seeing faster machines.
