- Here's what I do:

- If you have control over your Starbase source code you can modify it so
- it can output several formats, including HP-GL and Starbase bitmap files
- (all Starbase drivers for are provided in HP-UX). From a Starbase bitmap
- you can transform to the X Window dump format with the standard HP-UX
- command sb2xwd; you can use the reverse command xwd2sb to import X
- Window dumps into your Starbase application. From xwd you can go to
- almost anything you like by using the PBM package (freely available in
- many archives). For instance the pbm command "xwdtopnm <file.xwd> |
- pnmtops" will produce an encapsulated postsrcipt file as final output.

- The upshot of all this is that it is indeed possible to go from Starbase
- to Encapsulated Postscript.
