- We have an HP 425t running hp-ux B.08.00 A that spends
- a noticable amount of its time swapping when running
- certain applications. Out of curiosity I looked at
- the structure swdevt (in /etc/conf/h/conf.h) and wrote
- a short program to dig the values out of /dev/kmem.

- The question is, what does the value sw_nfpgs **really**
- represent. I notice that when the machine is busy chewing
- on something difficult, the number for sw_nfpgs goes down.

- The rest of the parameters seem to agree with what comes from
- /usr/sam/bin/swapinfo.
