- A spec sheet given by the local LDI store states that depending
- on the power supply module present, input voltages 100, 120,220,240
- are permitted with a +10% -10% variation. Line frequency variation
- +3Hz, -3Hz is allowed from the 50hz or 60Hz versions. My question is:
- how critical are these limits? Can I buy what they carry locally,
- which is the 120V/60Hz version and use a voltage transformer to
- step-down 220V/50Hz (to 110/50Hz) and have only minor deterioration
- in, say, speed, or is the frequency used for some kind of control?
-
-
- Also, if I buy the machine with the us power supply, could someone
- tell me where I can order a 220/50 power module from?
-
- Thanks
