- | you are having is because the directory is not mounted. Remember, fonts are
- | a server resource, not a client's. So if the fonts are on a remote machine's
- | disk, you must nfs mount them.

- When your are logged in via xdm or vue the X server has an effective uid of 0,
- so be carefull when adding own directories mounted via nfs to make them
- readable for user nobody or group other (group 65534 if your NFS server is a
- SUN).
