  13. Hello, I grabbed ntalk from iowa and installed it on my 827/8.05 and all was
  14. cool. Worked like a champ, UNTIL, the callee set mesg n.

  16. It looks like inetd starts ntalkd.

  18. ntalkd immediatly forks itself.
  19.  
  20. Since the callee has mesg n, the child eventually times out, while the 
  21. parrent persist.

  23. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the caller puts in another request to ring the
  24. callee. Inetd spawns another ntalkd and the above scenario repeats itself.

  26. This goes on until I get a call at home that the sys has gone comotose.
  27.  
  28. Does anyone have any suggestions, besides stop answering the phone.
