  16. I'd need a working driver for HP DAT drive 1521B for 9000/400 series
  17. running HP-UX 8.0.

  19. It should operate as the 700 series driver does, to be able to switch
  20. between compression and non-compression modes.

  22. The local HP salespeople promised a support for this drive model in
  23. 400 series when the system was bought but couldn't offer a solution
  24. when the driver didn't work. They only promised a (possible) fix in
  25. HP-UX 9.0. Understandably we rather don't want to wait that long, so
  26. if anybody has found an (unofficial?) patch or solution please let me
  27. know!
