- I have actually tried this (about 8 months ago), and the results:
- (1) Boot does not work - the SUN CD fails to respond to a bus reset
- command (I think that's what it was). The boot-roms did find the
- device, however.
- (2) Once you have booted your system (from the hard disc), you *can*
- read from the SUN CD-Drive just fine. We put in a s/w disc, and
- ran an update from it, to install more s/w onto the 720.

- For what it's worth, at a Customer site we put an HP CD into a SUN drive, on
- a SUN host, and NFS mounted the disc onto a 720. That, too, worked just fine.
