  15. I'm trying to compile GNU emacs-18.58, and find that it is calling for the
  16. curses library, which seems to be absent from my HP710. Is the curses
  17. library unbundled in HP-Land (so much else seems to be), or is it called by
  18. another name, or is it included somewhere else, or am I completely hosed?

  20. Suggestions on how to proceed are welcome.

  22. On a related matter: whatever happened to yacc and lex? I note these are
  23. absent as well.
