- I have just acquired an old Commodore programmable calculator. The
- person I got it from estimated it was made in about 1974. The label on
- the back gives its model number as P50. Any information on this
- calculator would be appreciated. In particular, it uses either a
- disposable 9V battery or can be operated via an AC adapter, which I
- don't have. The label says "Use commodore adaptor no. DC-50S or 707 or
- 708 or 709." If anybody knows what voltage these produce, this would
- be useful.

- I hadn't even realised Commodore ever made calculators, or that they
- existed as long ago as 1974. What did they do before making the PET?
