- HP put out the Portable and Portable Plus machines and a laptop Vectra
- as well as relabled Zenith products. The P+ was a great machine, ran
- forever on it's battery pack. I don't know why they didn't move that
- into the DOS market. I mean, it was proprietary and the disk formats
- were proprietary but they should have, INHO, made a Portable Plus DOS
- machine. That was a GREAT machine and ran for weeks in the field on
- one charge. Could have run for months, for all I know, but I never was
- out in the wilds for more than several weeks at a shot while using it.
