  12. I have a DECstation 5000 running under Ultrix 4.2A. The supplier of a HP
  13. DAT drive is unable to help with the installation (don't tell me; you get
  14. what you pay for). I have used MAKEDEV to generate a tz-type driver called
  15. rmt1h. I can copy files to and from the Dat using cp. However, when I use
  16. dump I don't seem to get anything like the data capacity I expected (maybe
  17. 100Mb rather than 1.2Gb) irrespective of tape density/length settings on
  18. the command line.
  19. Does anyone out there have a HP dat drive that works? If so, please mail
  20. me & tell me what parameters you use on the dump command line.
