  15.   I had promised to get a copy of the ACCESS.bus specifications posted as soon
  16. as they were available. Well, the ACCESS.bus Industry Group met last week and
  17. we finally have the approved specifications available on line. You can get a

  34.   For those of you who may not be familiar with ACCESS.bus, it's a serial bus
  35. for relatively low speed devices. Some of it's relevant features are:
  36.  
  37.         * Support for up to 14 devices at a time.
  38.  
  39.         * 8 meters of electrical cable length.
  40.  
  41.         * Based on the Phillips/Signetics I2C (I Squared C) bus. The
  42.           I2C microprosseor is only about $2.00 in the US.
  43.  
  44.         * Easily applicable to keyboards, mice (pointers), bar code
  45.           readers, hand held scanners, and so on.
