  11. Well, I was having fun with my old SX-64 when this went and happened:

  13. - I power the system up and I get a white screen with a blue border, 
  14. which is normal for the SX-64.  But...
  15.  
  16. - Instead of the BASIC sign on message,  I get a screen full of hi-res
  17. bitmapped looking garbage.  The system is then totally non-responsive. 
  18. No indication of key input or RUN/STOP-RESTORE activity doing anything.
  19. At least on the screen.

  21. I have no idea where to begin looking for a bad chip.  Any suggestions?
