- Well, if the keyboard is good, that's definitely salvageable, especially
- to other 64 owners whose keyboards have gone bad. Also, the keyboard
- chips(the 2 identical larger chips that are near the slot where the
- keyboard plugs in, the number of the IC escapes me)
- These blow out very easily, any kind of static shock given to the joystick
- ports will blow one of these(I know from experience)
- As long as they aren't soldered directly to the board though. I have one
- old 64 that has them soldered, and one that has them in a socket.
- What's wrong with it, by the way?
