- The Northgate keyboard is an especially attractive option. It has a
- very good action with a tactile feel. The keyboard has an 8-position DIP
- switch behind its logo. Four bits are for emulation, and four for options.
- The emulations include IBM/XT, IBM/AT, AT&T/Olivetti/Xerox XT equiv, etc.
- The options include reversing the CAPS-LOCK and ALT keys (they even include
- extra keytops and a keytop puller for this option.
-
- The keyboard also has plug-in coil cords available in various formats.
- These include IBM/PC/AT 5-pin DIN, IBM/PS2 mini-din, and AT&T DB-9. This
- means that you are not making an unrecoverable investment in the 6300. This
- is a great keyboard that will work on almost any PC system ever made.
-
- By the way, I have no connection with Northgate other than the fact that
- I own 3 of these keyboards and love them.
