- I don't think he has anything specifically against the 3b2, but perhaps
- he does have a grudge against people who build stupid, arbitrary,
- hard-coded limits into their programs (like the stock 3b2 compiler).

- Perl 3.0, patchlevel 18 was the last version that would compile
- without getting a "switch table overflow" on the 3b2-300/400. I've
- been told that the compiler for the 600 will handle it and that there
- used to be some way to get a copy of the compiler with a larger
- switch table, but I never bothered - I'd rather switch than fight
- and 486's are real cheap these days.
