- A few days ago I got an ATARI 1040ST for free. Unfortunately it died yesterday.
- My first guess was a failure of the power supply, since neither the floppy disk
- drive starts nor the LED flashes. After opening up the case, I found a power
- supply made by 'TAIWAN LITON', 'MODEL NO: PE-2350-2'. One IC
- (labeled GE, H11AV, 1A, 8836) misses pin no. 6. Now my question: is this
- correct ? Or could this happened during transportation ?
- Are there any other things I should check ?
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
- Claus
