  23.     Could you give us (me) a little explanation of how you installed 
  24. nn? I've got it part way there, but it start's with all groups 
  25. unsubscribed. I've had to resubscribe to all the groups, and 
  26. still have to run nn -g to get in, then tell it what group to 
  27. start reading. Is this normal. I figured out that you had to run
  28. nnadmin EYW to start the nn database. It took about 2 hours, as
  29. I already had a news system up under hermes. Also, it seems to 
  30. put 2 '/''s in some of the file names when it looks for anything 
  31. in the $USR tree. I had $USR set to g:, which works fine under 
  32. Hermes, but nn seems to hate it. I could move everything into a 
  33. /usr folder, but would prefer not to. Also, if I try to reply or 
  34. followup, it just returns without loading the editor. All I did
  35. was change the default editor to vi from me, as using ted to 
  36. launch Tempus, like in Gus, didn't work. The version I have is
  37. nn13, and all it has for installation instructions is a brief 
  38. readme which mainly describes changes from previous versions.
