- : Hmmm.. further thoughts about Dungeon Master..
- :
- : That's true about the Winged Key door at the bottom of the
- : Skeleon Key stairway.. maybe that's the door Rasmus was
- : referring to..
- :
- : That door leads to a secret entrance to the Dragon's Room, from which
- : you can "hit and run" at the Dragon.. the first time I found m
- : way down there I somehow ended up with him trapped in there with
- : me... so I hightailled it back up the stairs and came back down
- : the regular stairs into the Dragon's Room, leaving him trapped
- : behind the wall..!
- :
- : The Winged Key is however, well hidden..
- :
- : The Mace of Order may make your party move faster, but that's
- : because it increases the Load capacity of the Champion who carries it..
-
- You sure about this? It definitely speeds up, even if you weren't
- overloaded before- maybe I should try dropping everything but the
- Mace and see if it still speeds you up...
-
- : When I noticed that the Jewel Symal (I think.. I've gotta find my
- : notes on this..!) seemed to be helping regenerate health points,
- : my ladies and I spent a somewhat painful (for us all) time
- : experimenting..
-
- I checked this last night- Jewel Symal gives you +15 Anti Magic,
- It's the Ekhard Cross which helps to regenerate Health. I found it
- quite distinct- Damage my two fighters, without medallions, and they
- both recovered at the same rate. Put on the Cross, and one of them
- pull visibly ahead...
-
- I still don't know what the Gem of Ages does though... Anyone?
-
- :
- : I'd throw a LO fireball at the wall, and time how long it took for
- : one of them to recover their health without the medallion, and
- : then again with the medallion.. over time, it became apparent
- : that it did help.. but again, not enough to make a big difference.
- :
- : Did accidentally bump your party into the wall, and find yourself
- : apologizing to them...?
-
- Ever run into a fourth level fireball which you just fired yourself?
-
- :
- : :)

- Maybe we should put together some kind of definitive guide to DM;
- monsters, combat, tactics, magic, objects etc. and put it on a.a.
- The 'DM Help' files up there at the moment seem pretty patchy...
- Any opinions?
