- Same here. You can't seriously multitask (and that's the way Atari
- seems to be going) with such a small screen. We want many windows open
- at once, so there has to be room for them on screen. Anyway, I think I
- remember reading somewhere that a programmable overscan will be built
- in, and that the Falcon could easily (and cheaply) be upgraded to about
- 900x1200. That sounds more like it, huh? Problem Is, monitors above 768x1024
- rapidly become unaffordable (at least color monitors do). BTW, if I
- remember correctly, it was someone from Atari who said it. Makes it
- less of a rumour. It sounds believable anyway, since OverScan does
- quite good work in an ST for little dinero. Shouldn't be too hard to
- integrate some kind of overscan in the video circuitry.
