- I don't know what you mean by "serious limitation ... [of] mass
- storage capacity" - it has a SCSI-2 interface - not only bu**-kicking fast
- (upwards of 10MB/s - I'd _love_ to see a music-data-stream requiring a
- throughput greater than THAT!) but it can handle 7 of them. If you are
- referring to the limitations of the internal drive - now that is a different
- story. Yes, the internal IDE drive is limited to at most 2, and yes they
- are generally slower/smaller than SCSI drives. However, I was talking to
- friend who got a PC with local-bus IDE controller and she said it was faster
- than the SCSI-2 controller they tried...so I dunno - and yes, they were
- used on different (aproporiate) drives which were identical except for
- interface. _THAT_ is the only limitation I am aware of in the Falcon's
- mass-storage abilities.

- I would be VERY surprised if there weren't one out before the
- Falcons are out :). At least, it is supposed to be compatible with
- STE/TT sound so available-now NT players should work....

- Try NoizeTrakr, that should give you the editing capabilities you want.
- As far as a player, Backtrack is nice (but I thought that Jukebox (1.3?)
- was better). I am hoping that the guys who did the dynamite demo will do
- a NT player. If you haven't see/heard it, you should give it a try. I just
- wish they would give you an "exit from demo" option. As far as listening,
- you should try NTcompiler-2 - it converts the NTs to segm, and to me it sounds
- better (it definately uses less CPU cycles to play).
