- As stated in Atari's annual report, Atari has paid for, and has
- license in perpetuity, the rights to make an infinite number of
- copies of the GEM interface for the ST line of computers.

- My question is do they have the rights to migrate the interface to
- another line of computers, namely the ABC line? Or any new line of
- computers that they may develop?

- Although this is probably a dead issue, with OS/2 and Windows, I
- thought I'd ask.

- As I mused in another post, one could get a notebook clone, install
- the original GEM interface, and a few Atari logos here and there,
- and you have machine that looks like the ST, with the exception of
- the operating system, of course.
