- Well, you said above that it will do 56,000bps uncompressed, so I guess the

- Your needs. Some people may think 1200bps is fast enough for them. I have
- a Supra V.32bis modem here and now I think it's too fast since my only other
- local 14.4kbps connection went bye-bye recently.

- The "old" Atari machines, like the MegaSTE and TT, already support astronomical
- speeds on their second through fourth modem ports. STalker is the only term
- program I'm aware of that supports those faster speeds. (Maybe Rufus too,
- or Connect?)

- I don't know, some people still use MS-DOS, so I guess 2400bps will still be
- around for a while. :^)
