- In article <BsxD91.F6G@world.std.com>, I write:
-
- >Is there anything I can check to see if its really the ports, or perhaps
- >my keyboard that got messed up? When I play a sequence thru my sequencer,
- >it looks like its working, but no music. On my Kawai keyboard, usually
- >when I press a key, on the LCD display, it shows a block cursor to visually
- >acknowledge that MIDI data is being sent or recived.
-
- I found a program called CKMIDI, that checks the MIDI ports, and came
- to the conclusion:
- The MIDI in works
- The MIDI out doesnt....
-
- The problem now is to see if the problem exists on the STe, or
- if I damaged the keyboard. Since I dont have any other MIDI gear to
- swap, I may bring my keyboard into the store where I purchased it and
- have them check it...
