  10. Boy, sometimes it seems that I have more problems than its worth...

  12. Last night, I had a strange problem with my ST. When I fired it up,
  13. it started clicking like crazy, even tho I wasnt pressing the keys,
  14. so I quickly did a power cycle. I fear that something happened in
  15. there that may have damaged my MIDI ports, because now they dont
  16. work at all.

  18. Is there anything I can check to see if its really the ports, or perhaps
  19. my keyboard that got messed up? When I play a sequence thru my sequencer,
  20. it looks like its working, but no music. On my Kawai keyboard, usually
  21. when I press a key, on the LCD display, it shows a block cursor to visually
  22. acknowledge that MIDI data is being sent or recived.

  24. I would hate to have to ship this somewhere for repair. (btw: its an
  25. STe thats about 8 months old... I dont recall if I sent in the 
  26. warentee sheet, but how long is the warentee?)
