- Boy, sometimes it seems that I have more problems than its worth...
-
- Last night, I had a strange problem with my ST. When I fired it up,
- it started clicking like crazy, even tho I wasnt pressing the keys,
- so I quickly did a power cycle. I fear that something happened in
- there that may have damaged my MIDI ports, because now they dont
- work at all.
-
- Is there anything I can check to see if its really the ports, or perhaps
- my keyboard that got messed up? When I play a sequence thru my sequencer,
- it looks like its working, but no music. On my Kawai keyboard, usually
- when I press a key, on the LCD display, it shows a block cursor to visually
- acknowledge that MIDI data is being sent or recived.
-
- I would hate to have to ship this somewhere for repair. (btw: its an
- STe thats about 8 months old... I dont recall if I sent in the
- warentee sheet, but how long is the warentee?)
-
- Thanx
