- Well.. it hasn't happened any more... not since I went in and cleaned
- the thing. It mighta been a little short in the keyboard or something?
- (NEVER spill stuff in a keyboard... as Bush'd say: "It's BAD! It's
- BAD!")...
-
- Anyways.. Re: BobTerm and DDIII's font editor...
-
- BASIC!?!?! You need to get out and download a little more!
- ;) If I recall correctly BobTerm was written in
- Action!? (help out folks!) And DDIII...I could look it up, but it's a
- less interesting program than BobTerm ;) (not saying I haven't been
- using DDIII twice as much as BT lately or anything! hahaha ;) )
-
-
- Anyone ever think about pattern-printing in DDIII? (since the subject has
- arisen itself..DDIII that is) I was thinking instead of the program
- printing out letters which are formed from a 16 dot high line, how about
- a 16 dot high dotted line, or something that sort of fades away at the
- top. How about inverse?! And too bad italics is a drag to use with the
- thing (too bad these 8-bits were made with so little memory! <snicker> (I
- should talk!!!)). Just imagine... using up 1/2 the disk space to print
- italics or inverse. And the patterning would look REALLY nice. Have the
- letters darker at the top and bottom and lighter in the middle... it'll
- look sorta metal :) (I love doing that on the screen with DLIs or
- multi-color text).
-
- Well.. this is for Roy Goldman to do, if he ever feels it must be done.
- I'm sure it'd end up being hell to program in, esp. since the program has
- covered probably everything he ever imagined he wanted it to do. I sorta
- wish I coulda been there back in the beginning (God I'd've been more
- annoying than I am now!!)
-
-
-
-
- Hey- anyone ever think of starting from SCRATCH and having resizable
- fonts!?!? How about resizeable fonts with 2 sets of patterns!? Outline
- it first, then fill it in with a pattern... god I'm going nuts with
- my printer... 9-pin it may be.
