  22. Bill, try using Sparta3.2d, it is the prefered dos...goes off without a
  23. hitch using that. No problems with #s as the 1st character of filesnames
  24. either.

  31. Sorry, Bill, but it takes a 64k machine to run it, at least.
  32. It wont run from stock 800s.  On stock 800xls there is a .DCMed file
  33. on the conversion to use Atari dos with a small RD to fit the fonts in.
  34. The reason the fonts NEED to be in a RD is they have to load FAST.

  41. There's not enough memory in the 8bit to handle the modem handler, Bobterm and the CGS handler and what you propose.
  42. The CGS system is an efficient, well thoughtout system and I doubt if we
  43. had it before this that the 8bit would have died so fast.

  53. Sorry, Bill, but I think the fonts are quite attractive.  The program is
  54. graphics oriented..the Sysop only has to choose a graphics mode to be sent
  55. to the receiving computer and the handler
  56. tells the system to change back and forth.  Also, it looks fine from my
  57. son's RCA Colortrak TV.
