  25. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, Ben, for this info...I was depressed
  26. about the fact that mine would not read both sides.. I have an 
  27. RFD series Percom.  I don't think it is double sided..from my tests of
  28. IBM 5 1/4 and 3 1/2 drives.
  29. Although, I just got though talking to Tom Hunt and his Percom with a
  30. IBM 360k drive DOES FORMAT ON BOTH SIDES.  His has a printer port on
  31. the back and 2 card edge connectors and is an SPD series.
  32. Also he told me that IBM drives are very light sensitive and wont 
  33. format if they are out of the case and I tested the 5 1/2" out of the
  34. case..maybe thats what my trouble was.
  35. So, if any one has a SPD series Percom for sale, I'm interested;
  36. else I'll just have to get my hands on an XF551 controller.
