  12.        so that people planning visiting the Silicon Valley during 
  13.        the time of this social gathering will be aware of it.  Also, 
  14.        feel free to use this idea as inspiration for organizing 
  15.        other social Apple II oriented gatherings.

  18.     ANNOUNCING: PIZZAFEST!

  20.     Do you live in the San Francisco Bay Area?  Do you like pizza?
  21.  Will you be visiting the San Francisco Bay Area on August 30th, 1992?

  37.     Why:    Well, _I_ think it's a good idea....

  40.     This idea came from a conversation I had with Lynda Botez at
  41.  KansasFest:  It's so much fun just meeting and hanging out with
  42.  lots of cool Apple II people, it's really a shame that gatherings
  43.  like KansasFest happen only once a year.  Well, there's LOTS of
  44.  really neat Apple II people in the Bay Area, and many of them
  45.  couldn't make it to KansasFest, so why not just have a bunch of
  46.  smaller local gatherings where we could all get together and just
  47.  have a good time?  Thus PizzaFest was born!

  49.     There's no registration fees, and nothing to sign.  Just show up!
  50.  Meet people you've never met in person before, or haven't seen in
  51.  person for weeks.

  85.      Why Sunnyvale?  Well, for one it's close to Apple (only a few blocks
  86.  away from the building where a lot of Apple II engineers work, actually).
  87.  For another, it's an area that I'm familiar with.  If this PizzaFest goes
  88.  well, I'll organize others in different parts of the Bay Area.  Show up
  89.  and tell me where you'd like to see the next one held!
