- Two things requiring comments from fellow netlanders.
-
- 1) I'm in the market for 3.5" disk drive and controller card for my old
- trust worthy //e, but is not in the mood to pay an arm and a leg
- for them. I've heard to the effect that Laser's Universal Disk
- Controller permits the use of Mac 800k drives with the //s, are
- there any truth to this? After all Mac 800k drives are a heck
- lot cheaper than Apple's 3.5" drives (3.5" or Unidisk 3.5)...
-
- 2) I'm trying to get Publish It! v4.0 to work with my SuperExpander E
- card. I've heard to the effect that the only difference between
- SuperExpander E and AE's RAMWorks is that they use different
- location to select memory bank. Will someone please point out
- what these memory location(s) are? I'm trying to come up with
- a home brew patch here...
