- Summary:
-
- All people that responded wanted the launcher to slow down to 1Mhz
- without entering the control panel, at least as a default.
-
- It seems as though both the ZIP and the Transwarp slow down to 1Mhz
- when you toggle the speed register, so this means no accelerator
- specific code is necessary.
-
- Some people suggested that holding down the apple key on launch could
- force high speed if 1Mhz was the default speed.
-
- However, most people wanted some sort of configuration so they could
- set the launcher to slow down automatically for some programs, but not
- for others.
-
- A few people thought that the keyboard buffering option was useful also.
-
- Majority rules - There will be configuration options to automatically
- force a particular file to slow speed and keyboard buffering off.
- The conversion program will give you the option of setting these options,
- and the launcher will respect them (and restore them before quiting).
-
- Of course, you can always enter the control panel and change them if
- you so desire.
-
- I'll certainly have it all done in the next few days, so stay tuned
- (beta testers first).
