- 45 nS is likely to only top 10 MHz.

- I'd like to know too.

- What I was told by one of the designers of the Zip is that it has been done
- by himself but does take piggy-backing 32k chips and some rewiring. I DO NOT
- know how though and I don't think the speed it would offer would be worth the
- trouble.

- Even though I own a Zip and think it is a good product (I'm NOT happy with
- some of the company's business actions though) I think the Zip is a better
- built product. Less heat (fact), less parts (fact), less current (fact).
-
- Keep in mind the TWGS has gone through more production revisions while the
- Zip has only gone through 3. I say this to say that NOT ALL TWGSs WILL
- MEET WITH THAT KIND OF SUCESS. Some older ones will have problems with
- high speed operations. Read that article that WDC made you mail for.
- AE will charge a TWGS user a bit for the fast GALs too, I bet.
-
- Believe me I have a TWGS here I'm trying to fix for a friend and I'm suprised
- that card works by the way it is designed! On the other hand I've had a 2
- month burn period for my Zip before I got things stable with it.
-
- Things are running too smoothly now so I think I goof things up and upgrade
- the speed myself. LOOK OUT!
