- GSHK had problems shrinking forked Macintosh files on a ProDOS
- disk because of some confusion with GS/OS option lists. I don't think
- I've run across any problems with the GScii+ 2.3.1 NDA. 99% of the
- BinHex files decode into StuffIt or Compactor archives which typically
- don't have resource forks.

- Sure, they're not going to mutate or anything... ;-)
-

-
- That's possible as well. In fact, that's how I transferred a
- bunch of Truetype fonts from my GS to some Macs at school (each ProDOS
- 3.5" disk holds about 11K more than a Mac disk). It understands
- resource forks so it won't barf on forked files the way Apple File
- Exchange will. One additional note: if you are dealing with
- Macintosh archives, they will probably still have the MacBinary header
- attached. Mac term programs automatically process and strip off this
- header, but this doesn't happen if the file is downloaded on a
- non-Mac. There is a small utility called (surprise!) "MacBinary"
- which will process the header and correctly set the file's attributes.
- You can also get filters for Apple File Exchange which will interpret
- MacBinary headers as it translates the file.
