- Hello netters,
-
- I get my USENET access through a Unix box and therefore my datapath
- I am writing to find out if anybody has had to deal with a 7 bit wide
- datapath because the Apple 2 kermit documentation never mentions it
- explicitly. Is it hidden in the 'SET PARITY <param>','SET SEND <param>'
- or 'SET RECEIVE <param>' commands ?
-
- Also, does anybody have information on communications cards which don't
- use the Pascal interface standard for expansion slots? (aka enter with
- x=$slot0,y=$Cslot at the address which needed the low bytes stored at
- certain offsets into the slot rom)
-
- How do you interface with a(n)
-
- o Apple-Cat ?
- o Prometheus ?
- o Old Apple Communications card ?
- o AIO ?
- o ASIO ?
- o CCS 7710 / 7711 ?
- o Microtek sv-622 ?
- o SSM AIO ?
- o Apple 2c serial port (why is this thing always an exception?)
- o anything else
-
- I am testing my kermit implementation that is a Rom 1 2gs that was
- once a 2e. Any help appreciated. Most of my work is done but I
- have not tested with any specific driver all I have is an interface
- definition I am using for my work currently. I have implemented
- REAL long packets (aka 9024 chars in data field). I might go for
- windowing, although extra long packets in probably out of the
- questions. I am especially looking for a good up to date definition
- for all the packet types.
-
- Thanks in Advance,
-
