  12. Is the Apple // dead? After working on Macs for the last several
  13. years and pricing the cost of buying one for myself, I am coming
  14. to the realization that my Apple // is pretty much all the micro-
  15. computer I've ever needed, and more computer than most people
  16. really do need.

  18. Anyway, so after a 2 year hiatus from my //c, I am trying to find
  19. a source to purchase hardware and software for it. 
  20. Pre 1989, I usually wnt to a grocery store to pick up the latest
  21. edition of InCider or A+ to read reviews and find mailorder houses.
  22. Do any Apple // mags exist anymore?
  23. Do Apple // mailorder places exist?
  24. Does Apple // now mean only Apple //gs?

  26. I am pondering the addition of the following to my system:
  27. accelerator Zip chip (does this exist? how much? how fast? good/bad?)
  28. Unidisk 3.5 or (gulp) harddrives?
  29. memory expansion?
  30. programming compilers, for C and Pascal?
  31. Beagle Brothers - do they still exist?
  32. Appletalk and Laserwriters? Do these work with the //? How? Good/bad?
  33. How has the 16bit ProDOS come along? 16bits in general - only GS?
  34. Clock for the //c - Applied Eng still does //s?
  35.  
  36. I've been helped in terms of Modeming and everybody here loves ProTerm 3,
  37. but where can I get it?

  39. I have AppleWorks 1.1 - Can I get an upgrade to 3.0? How? How much$?

  45. with it, and compared to the all too friendly bombing macs, my //c
  46. is like an old simple friend that gets the job done.
