- I've finally found that all the problems I was recently having with my IIGS
- come from my Zip Chip (1600) connector to the motherboard (at the place
- where the cpu was removed) periodically coming loose, especially in warm
- weather. I keep turning off the computer, opening it up, and pressing down
- hard on the connector.
-
- Someone suggested filing off ridges in the connector plug. Is this wise?
- Does anyone have a better solution?
