  14. I've finally found that all the problems I was recently having with my IIGS
  15. come from my Zip Chip (1600) connector to the motherboard (at the place
  16. where the cpu was removed) periodically coming loose, especially in warm
  17. weather.  I keep turning off the computer, opening it up, and pressing down
  18. hard on the connector.
  19.  
  20. Someone suggested filing off ridges in the connector plug.  Is this wise? 
  21. Does anyone have a better solution?
