- I don't know the exact difference but I can give you some effects:
- 1) We've written our own getty to be able to handle some of the
- hayes stuff and this cause problems when using /dev/sio? because
- it seems to ignore the hardware handshake stuff, even when it is
- set using BSD calls
- 2) When using /dev/tty?? and doing a /com/tctl on that same line.
- Then the hardware flips one of the hardware line, the moden goes
- down and the apollo-side terminates the session.

- given time will probably never be able to do so.
