- Has anyone had any success running the debugger "PowerVisor" on a stock
- 68000 machine? The package looks rather nifty, in particular it seems to
- handle mixed assembler and C programs far better than any other program that
- I have seen.
- At the moment the program works perfectly until I try to set a breakpoint:
- using "break n _main". This complains "PowerVisor crashed" (and then carries
- on running!). "debug n" just causes a GURU.
-
- Configuration:
-
- Ancient A500 with original chipset, 1/2 Meg chipram, 1/2 Meg non-very fast.
- External floppy
- A590, with additional 2 megs of ram and poxy harddisc.
- KickStart/Workbench 1.3 + ARP
-
- I am quite happy to upgrade to 2.04 (been looking for a reason to splash
- out), but upgrading to the new chipset would hardly be economical. On this
- topic, could someone summarise the benifits of the latest Agnus/Denise?
-
- Does anyone know if the author has an E-Mail address? This is one shareware
- package that I will definitely register for (if I can convince it to work!)
