  11. How do I change the colours of a string gadget ?

  13. I've tried many of the obvious (I hope) methods...I have a string gadget
  14. in a window on a custom screen, and it always uses the background colour
  15. (0) for the background of the string gadget, and the foreground colour
  16. (1) for the text within the same.

  18. Even when I change the default colours of the screen, colours 0 and 1
  19. are used...I've tried other things but can't get the darn thing to change
  20. colour.

  22. My intuition manual (1.3 only, *sigh*) tells me how to change the font,
  23. but not the colour...
  24.  
  25. 1.3 or 2.x solutions acceptable.
